Quatrième de couverture

This book gives a comprehensive and up-to-date analysis of the current rules regulating commercial and banking activities in the Internet. It provides detailed treatment of the increasing impact of European Community law with a particular emphasis placed on the Data Protection Directive, the Digital Signature Directive, the E-commerce Directive and the Commission's Proposal in the field of indirect taxation, completed by a comparative law overview. Furthermore, it is concerned with international private law issues and the settlement of disputes, in particular in regard of the Rome and Brussels Conventions.

The Introduction into E-commerce, Cyberbanking and Law provides large information on technological aspects of the Internet and a critical analyse of the emerging law required by practicing lawyers. It proves an invaluable source for companies participating into e-commerce and the banking management sector.
