Biographie

Markus Sebastian Braun, born in Berlin in 1966, studied history, German literature and economics. He is the publisher and editor of various publications in the fields of architecture and design. He lives in Berlin, Switzerland and Portugal.

Rainer Haubrich, born in 1965, is a reviewer of architecture and heads the feuilleton department of DIE WELT and WELT am SONNTAG. He studied history as well as history of art and political science, has written five books about Berlin architecture and was a member of the state monument council of Berlin. In 1996, he was awarded the German-French journalist prize.

Hans Wolfgang Hoffmann, born in 1970. Mr. Hoffmann studied architecture and since 1995 has been a freelance author on construction policy, urban development and design, especially for Frankfurter Rundschau, Berliner Zeitung and taz. He has been executive manager of a mediation project in Berlin since 1997.

Philipp Meuser, born in 1969. Mr. Meuser lives and works in Berlin as an architect (member of the BDA) and is the author and editor of numerous publications on urban development and architecture in international contexts.

Chris van Uffelen, M. A., born in 1966. Mr. van Uffelen is an independent art historian and author focusing on medieval architecture, classical modernity and contemporary construction. He has written several articles and books on these topics as well as a great number of articles on art and architecture history for encyclopedias.
