Cosmopolitan sociology

Andrea Lombardinilo is a tenured lecturer and Assistant Professor in Sociology of Cultural and Communicative Processes at Gabriele D'Annunzio University, Chieti-Pescara (Italy). He carries out researches on cultural communication and sociology of literature, with particular reference to the narrative and symbolic representations of modern identity. His interests also include sociology of higher education, with a focus on innovation reform and institutional communication within the university system. His last book is : McLuhan, Symbolist Communication. The Shock of Dislocation.

Sara Petroccia, PhD, is a Research Fellow at Gabriele D'Annunzio University, Chieti-Pescara (Italy). She is visiting instructor and recruiter partner at Iacocca Institute Programs, Lehigh University, PA (USA) since 2011 and vice-president of World Complexity Science Academy. Globalization, Multiculturalism, International Migration, Citizenship and Identity are the core of her research activity. Her last book is : International Migrations. Towards A New World Order.
