Défi 1

Défi's innovative design follows a task-based, content-focused approach that will spark students' curiosity. In this program, culture is at the core of every activity, stimulating students to build knowledge through explorative and expansive learning. Défi is designed for teenagers or adults at the A1 level (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages grade).

The Défi 1 workbook is in full colour, prepared in conjunction with the Student's book and its topics, allowing learners to practise and develop their knowledge.

The workbook features :

• Exercises that review and develop learners' language skills, systematically working through vocabulary and grammar.
• A page of phonetic exercises to practise the concepts presented in the phonetic capsules of the Student's book.
• A self-assessment that ascertains learners' language and cultural skills, and activities to help them reflect on the culture and distinguishing features of Francophone societies.
• Preparation for DELF A1 with tips and explanations on how best to approach the exam, as well as activities to train for the different tests.
