Extravagance

Extravagance is more than interior design. It is a state of mind, an expression of the self. It can be flamboyant : antique mirrors in the bathroom, luxurious velvet drapes, bold splashes of clashing colors on the walls. It can be more discreet, in dark wood and elegant lighting arrangements. It can be inspired by anything from a Moroccan medina to Pop Art. Whatever moves people to extravagance, the results can be vibrant, outrageous, even decadent-but never dull.
