Forever Paris

Over the centuries, Paris has grown in ever-widening concentric circles, starting from the Île de la Cité.

Many palaces and monuments have risen and now recount the fascinating history of the city.

This book invites us to discover this remarkable history-featuring both ordeals and moments of glory-through the most famous Parisian monuments. From Notre-Dame Cathedral to the Panthéon, from the Bastille to the Louvre via Sacré-Coeur or the Tuileries, to the Eiffel Tower or the Centre Pompidou : each of these sites reveals, in addition to its beauty and distinctive architecture, some of the episodes that have made Paris a unique city.

The 120 or so photographs that make up this Parisian promenade offer astonishing, poetic, and spectacular views that bear witness to the fact that, whatever happens, now and forever, we will always have Paris.
