New Horizons for languages
English
¤ A handbook for teachers, assistants and trainers who teach English as a foreign language
- It follows the recommendations of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The approach is action-oriented, and the tasks that are accomplished are carried out through different strategies using the target language.
- It is made up of six units with a cultural focus for each theme. For each level, a series of lessons offers language activities based on the resource materials.
The guide is user-friendly and the structure of the lessons can be seen at a glance. Teaching resources, grammar / vocabulary, tasks, teaching pointers and exercises for students are clearly set out.
¤ A hybrid-CD
- Sound files for access to the language through native speakers, designed for classroom listening on a CD player, computer or mp3.
- Resource materials which are either written texts or visuals.
- Exercises which are available and adaptable for teachers' personal use.
L'Europe ensemble
This teaching programme for the initiation into eight European languages for 10-15 years olds was designed within the European framework of the Socrates Lingua 2 Programm and was awarded the European label for languages 2006.

L'Europe Ensemble's approach to language learning is based on a focus on culture and civilisation. The goal is for young people to develop a wider understanding of cultural differences.
